  • 2 cups short pasta (elbow macaroni)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 ½ cups grated cheese (cheddar or mac and cheese blend)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Crushed Taqueritos Queso Fusión to finish

  • Step 1. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente and drain.
  • Step 2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, add the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly; gradually incorporate the milk while stirring until you get a thick and smooth sauce.
  • Step 3. Add the grated cheese and mix until completely melted and the sauce is creamy, season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 4. Fold in the cooked pasta and mix until well coated with the sauce.
  • Serve hot and finish by sprinkling crushed Taqueritos Queso Fusión on top to add a crunchy texture and intense flavor.
